First half was absolute rubbish by us. They played some decent stuff but were chasing and harrying us like madmen. The first goal came down our right hand side – no one stopped the cross and the finish was decent.
Yohan Cabaye first strike helps Newcastle stay in 4th place
Unbelievable, a stunning start of the season for Newcastle after so many years of doom and gloom. Although we are not playing good last Saturday against the bottom of the table club, but we still manage to get an important three points at home.
Newcastle United vs Wigan Athletic match review
In the 1st half Wigan stopped us playing through central midfield with Cabaye and Tiote constantly outnumbered. This is not the first time we’ve experienced this problem and it certainly won’t be the last because teams now realise how key Cabaye & Tiote are to our game.
Newcastle maintain the unbeaten record and stay in fourth place
After a dramatic evening at St. James’ Park and a four goals contest between United and Spurs, we are delighted in the results that we still unbeaten and keep the fourth place for another week.

Alan Pardew determined to change Newcastle style
Alan Pardew with his brand new Newcastle United squad is looking to break the 4-4-2 formation and said that Newcastle should change its style. The traditional formation of 4-4-2 stays for years and have been resulting an up and down seasons for us.
Newcastle keep the top four spot after a convincing win against Blackburn
You got a real sense at St. James’ Park that something good may finally be happening for NUFC. This finally is Alan Pardew’s team, and it is improving all the time. It was a good win against a desperately poor Blackburn side, with some good individual performances.
Carling Cup third round seven goals thriller at City Ground
Not a team in red shirt that I would hoping us to beat last night, but surely with the rates of the opponents and our team that play against them, I know now that although we still some short of backup in defense, we are capable to manage any game against any type of opponents.
Newcastle United keep the unbeaten record at Villa Park
Alan Pardew has answered some United supporters demand today to see Shola Ameobi on the bench. Pardew makes one change from a team that playing on last Monday goalles draw against Queens Park Rangers, and give a chance for Demba Ba as a starter alongside Leon Best in United attacking front.
Newcastle held in a goalles draw at Loftus Road
Not the best game to watch so far at the start of this season from Newcastle United while the Magpies flying to Loftus Road, the nest of Queens Park Rangers, but I’m quite satisfied with the result.

The points to be positive about Newcastle United this season
These are the positives as I see them (about Newcastle United). You could add in that Tiote and Coloccini weren’t sold, but I think that’s best not considered a plus even though we all know it is. Go on then, hammer me.
A helluva big “IF” for the Toon
My frustration is that this perhaps the 3rd time under Ashley that we have been close to getting it right (that’s term is interpretive, I realise) but failed to nail it at the end of the day.

Newcastle United success are not only about Big Names signing with big money spend
Summer transfer had been concluded, and the results are quite satisfying for some fans while according to quite alot of fans, it was a big failure. I’m in particularly would like to highlighted some opinions from the Telegraph reporter Luke Edwards, as quoted from his blog today.
