Weah scores for PSG, Premier League season starts

Timothy Weah showed that his preseason run of form was no fluke in PSG's 3-0 home win over Caen to open his club's Ligue 1 season. Neymar put PSG up in the 10th minute with Adrien Rabiout scoring in the 35th. Weah subbed on for Neymar in the 82nd and scored in the 89th capitalizing on a Caen misplay in front of goal. Weah earlier hit the post. He saw yellow for removing his shirt during his goal celebration. Gianluigi Buffon kept the clean sheet. Matt Miazga was on the bench for Nantes, losing 3-1 at home to Monaco. Trailing by three, Emiliano Sala scored two minutes into stoppage time. The Premier League started with DeAndre Yedlin's Newcastle United losing 2-1 at home to Spurs. Falling behind in the 8th minute, Joselu equalized for Newcastle in the 11th.
