Edin Džeko has finally completed his move from VfL Wolfsburg to Manchester City, as confirmed by mcfc.co.uk. The long-awaited transfer saga was finally been concluded after the Bosnian’s visa problems were resolved earlier today. However, the registration deadline for the FA Cup passed at 12pm today, meaning that the hitman is not in the squad for the Leicester game.
I want to do his signing article justice and therefore will post tomorrow, looking at the following things:
- How Džeko will fit into City’s side
- What position he is likely to play
- How he will benefit from Silva and Tevez’s service
